We’ve come a long, long way together…

Well, 2020 is almost over and I think I speak for everyone when I say here’s to 2021! Whilst 2020 was not a vintage year for planet Earth, we have been keeping very busy, as you can see with this new website, and have grown our business from relatively humble roots. Please indulge me a little whilst I look at the past, the present, and the future for Amplify Creative Marketing….

Amplify Creative has existed since about 2006 when Amplify, but this “phase” of its growth really started back in 2016 when Simon and I both decided to stretch ourselves and re-launch the company (it went on a slight hiatus between 2010 and 2016) and focus on delivering beautiful designs for our clients.

In the early days we had some great clients and some interesting contracts. One that really stands out is the branding work we did for the London Soccerdome (right next to the O2 arena in London) and the Football 40 concept for the same client. We also worked with a national chain of fish and chip shops which was great for experience but not always fantastic for the waistline…

Since then, we have gone from strength to strength, working with more fantastic partners, and creating a portfolio of websites, apps, brochures, and video assets that have delivered huge results for all our clients. We’ve created several e-commerce sites over the last few years, and it is genuinely thrilling to see the products sell in volume – with many of our e-commerce sites trading 6 figure sums. I’m also proud to say that we were recognised for this last year, winning the Best SME Outsourced Marketing Firm 2020 in the 2020 Southern Enterprise Awards hosted by SME News.

We’re also really pleased to announce the arrival of James Lock as part of our team. James is a talented and experienced media producer and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and skills. James has a brilliant eye for film and photography and has joined Amplify to enhance our existing abilities in this area.  You can see some of his work in the Media section.

Part of what sets us apart as a chosen partner is our conscientious approach to relationships. We genuinely care about all the businesses we work with and as a result look to forge strong and lasting partnerships. Last year we did just that with some global leading musical instrument manufacturers. Music has always been a shared passion at Amplify. It’s almost as if we chose the name to suit…

One of the main roles we have undertaken for one of these companies, Wampler Pedals, is that of brand management. We are jointly responsible with the business owner for ensuring that everything operational and marketing related is taken care of. This is perhaps best illustrated by some of our work on their main line of guitar effects pedals. We are involved in almost every stage of the process, from naming the products, to designing the ergonomic layout and graphics, to writing the copy for the global dealer network, and then creating our own content and co-ordinating artist videos for social media, and of course, building and maintaining their e-commerce website.  Phew. You can read more about the launch of one of our new products in a blog I wrote on the Wampler Website.

We have also built a unique WordPress portal for one of our FinTech clients this year which has proved a great success. It has given them a seriously professional tool to co-ordinate sales activities from and includes full analytics support file download management via WordPress. It was built from the ground up using the excellent Divi theme in WordPress and is hosted on AWS like the majority of our sites.

So, roll-on 2021, we have big plans with our clients, and we also look forward to onboarding a few more next year as our capabilities expand. So, if you know of someone that is looking for a marketing company that offers both experience and creativity, then do send them our way…
